RMT: Workshop on “Child Friendly Schools for HIV Positive Children”

Rozaria Memorial Trust (RMT) is hosting a workshop, “Child Friendly Schools for HIV Positive Children”, which will bring together participants from five schools in Murewa, Zimbabwe. The workshop will bring together female and male teachers with different responsibilities in schools including administration, sport and counseling. The key issues to be covered include facts about children, HIV and education; creating a supportive environment for an HIV+ child at school; monitoring a child's medical treatment; nutrition, stigma and discrimination, counseling and confidentiality, attendance and performance, sporting and out-of-class activities.
